Holiday World Reveals Plans For World’s Biggest Water Coaster!!!

Holiday World is beginning construction on a $9 million water coaster.

According to President Dan Cook, the ride will employ a new hydro-magnetic technology, giving riders a sense of defying gravity.

“It’s using hydro magnetic technology,” he said, “meaning magnets, to push a ride up hill, defying gravity. It’s truly a water coaster. You start out on a flat loading platform, then you get taken up on a conveyor belt, and you get tossed over a five story drop at a 45 degree angle, and you keep getting pushed up over hills and taken down hills, and pushed over hills…kinda defying physics.”

Named the Mammoth, the coaster will travel a third of a mile.

The ride is expected to open in May of 2012, and sit next to its sister water ride, the smaller Wildebeest.

Is Holiday World really as good as people say it is?

Yes, it is. It is a family owned and operated park, so the people there care about it in a different way than they do at a large corporation like Six Flags. It is very evident that the Koch family and their employees truly care about and for this beautiful park. I have been there many times, and it is one of my favorite parks for those very reasons, as well as the great rides and reasonable prices.

Watch take the money and run online

This show is utterly absurd for this very reason- they won’t disclose the actual ‘rules’ to anyone but the ‘contestants’ (very likely hired aspiring actors, friends of developers, or at the very least held by huge liabilities from ever saying anything), because so obviously there is ONLY a SCRIPT and this is NOT a REALITY show. In the live chat, the douchie mc douche producer tweets, “FACT: the place where the briefcase is hidden must be accessible 24 hours a day.” What the hell does ‘accessible’ mean exactly? Do certain friends of the contestants agree that they and their homes will be available the whole 48 hours? Who would do that unless they were paid?

I doubt the promise of a cut from contestants of $50k IF they win would persuade HOW many friends to comply to the point where no one would end up with more than a few bucks, MAYBE. Assuming that people’s residences and businesses like the restaurant that was closed in tonight’s show are off limits then, and the detectives have your route, where else can you hide it except in a park or woods? The detectives were just killing camera time for this stupid show;there were two parks on the route and nothing else as an option.
Yeah, I know, the show will get soooo much more interesting in the next city where they have like statues or lots of road medians or whatever….what a joke, and how stupid we all are that this could ever be on the air. Oh, and it won’t matter that the producer said that either, because so little of the morons who will keep watching actually read his comments from the chat. Even if more of them did, then of course he can later say ‘yes, the contestants friends in the show agree to be available.’ Point is, this is just a more blatant display of the latest Hollywood trend- it’s cheaper and easier to just market some time wasting garbage as reality instead of actually putting in the creative effort to write quality plots or dialogue.

Take the money and run tv show

What a terrible start to what seems to be an interesting idea/show. The fat (huge loser) brother is obviously the weak link but to surrender/give-up information on the location of the money is beyond me. I don’t know the (behind the scenes) rules – are the contestants forced to corporate and tell the truth…because lying won’t work on veteran detectives – just buy time. It’s easier to just say…nothing. It also seems like the contestants are at a disadvantage because they can lead detectives to a person or location. My strategy would be to have two locations near each other…one, I would surrender; the other – would NOT know that I hid the money in there place (I had a key and let myself in) and I never mention it so I don’t even have to lie and it’s a possible lead that’s not followed-up but even if it is; they (the money possessor’s) will throw detectives off without lying…but is that legal or permitted in the game show rules? I’ll watch next week but both sides (contestants and detectives) better up there game or this season is over for me.

Take the money and run

Take the money and run

Plenty of game shows make you worry about the general state of humanity. But often that worry is directed at “crushing stupidity” or something else that is annoying but overall unlikely to topple society as a whole as we know it. But ABC’s Take The Money And Run might be the first game show that rewards criminal ingenuity. It’s one thing to game people on Big Brother: after all, that’s a self-contained show that doesn’t affect anything outside the house except the audience’s sense of self-loathing. However, Take The Money and Run has larceny built into its very DNA. Not only that, but for people currently on the fence about turning to a life of crime, this show could provide a reason to indulge their inner Tony Montana.

This game show might have set a new world’s record for “Contestant that Cries The Quickest,” as Jimmy, the male member of the would-be thieves, breaks down almost instantly when talking about how the prize money might help his father’s cancer treatment.

Pocahontas disney

who is Pocahontas(disney)?

Pocahontas is one of the main characters of Disney’s 1995, thirty-third animated feature, Pocahontas, and its direct-to-video sequel, Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World. She, as well as the events she goes through, are very loosely based on the actual historical figure Matoaka, who is more popularly known by the nickname Pocahontas.

Though Pocahontas does not come from or marry into any monarchy like other Disney princesses such as Snow White, Cinderella and Princess Aurora, she is still included as an official Disney Princess because she is the daughter of a Native American chief. This makes Pocahontas the first American Disney Princess. Pocahontas is also the first (and only) Disney Princess to have two love interests. However, most media, including the Disney Princess franchise, keep John Smith and Pocahontas as an official couple, completely ignoring John Rolfe.

What are the differences and similarities between the disney version of pocahontas and the reality?

ok main difference: she was like 12 and he was in his late 20s and there was NO love story b/w them
also, no one knows if the whole “john smith saved by the beautiful indian princess” was real b/c:
a. he made up a LOT of stories like that before, and
b. he only told this story after she`d died, so she wasn`t around to give credibility to it

so really, disney seized on the popular story and made a movie out of it

How would you describe the Disney Pocahontas? What do you think of her?

I’d describe her as a vibrant young woman who was full of life and energy, who helped John Smith and his party because she was a peaceful humanitarian at one with her environment. I think she demonstrated that empathy with other races and other kinds of people shows that we can all co-exist peacefully if we’re prepared to help each other – and that’s a very useful lesson for us all.

Cee-Lo Green Meets Pocahontas In Eight Second YouTube Short (VIDEO) !!!!

Cee Lo Green’s “F**k You” might have gotten its start on the Internet, but the tale of the jealous dude-in-the-wings has been around for ages.

Take, for instance, the plot of Disney’s 100%-historically-accurate, totally-not-embellished 1995 hit “Pocahontas.” In the film, the tribe’s number one warrior and dream boyfriend Kocoum has a crush on Poca, but it’s all for naught because she is totally in love with John Smith. Say what you will about gleaning your historical information from children’s animated movies, but it looks like the colonial times weren’t so different after all!

YouTuber SantiYume noticed the parallels too and decided to grace the Internet with eight seconds of hilariously important footage.
